Alithia

ALITHIA is a band at the forefront of a movement in music known as ASTRAL SPACE CORE. More than simply a genre or musical tag, ASTRAL SPACE CORE taps into the chakra and connects the cosmic consciousness of its listener.

Immune

Immune is the title track of Melbourne indie space rockers Spearmint Fur's debut album. The original version of the song on the album was a solo effort by singer/songwriter Zadia Lenders.

In my House are Many Mansions

A dark and surreal story involving two men sitting in front of a house in an altered world. Will the new arrival work out what's in the mansion before his companion convinces him to take his jacket?

Jacks Place

Renowned artist and community elder Jack Dale takes us on a journey to his community of Imintji, near Katherine in Western Australia. 

Enduring Romance

Two women find themselves unceremoniously dumped on the Hume Highway, walking in the direction of either Sydney or Melbourne - they're a little unsure. As the story unfolds we learn more about how they're both running from very different things. 

Ambush Embrace

A man and a woman wake up in a room of incandescent light, though neither knows who the other is. Lying next to each other, they move from fear and isolation to camaraderie and nostalgia and discover that maybe this chance meeting was as real as any other

 

Cut Outs

Charting the rise of the stencil art movement in Melbourne, Cut Outs is a gritty, urban tale of community and social commentary. Having played at ACMI, St Kilda film festival and on broadcast, Director Cassandra Bakic brings the movement to life in a slick and stylised film.

Debris

A heroin user with a stutter and his bulimic girlfriend live through their conditions, unaware of the others struggle. She's finds an outlet in the arms of a sadist, who gratifies his urges through dominance and perversion. A romance set amidst the backdrop of the urban sprawl, we discover that life touches all - even those that live in the shadows. 

Sing Sing

A transvestite finds the cherubic young boy he's taken home unresponsive to his obvious charm and humour. A journey into the trash world of Warhol's anti-cinema, with a thoroughly unexpected twist in the tail.

Mud on the Violets

An elderly man escapes his nurse's steely gaze on an afternoon outing and finds brief moments of lucidity and recollection at the freedom. When the nurse returns, we wonder how complicit she is, and who's really being taken for a ride.

A Maligned Smell

Two men from vastly different sides of the tracks find solace and camaraderie in a pub. Speaking of loss, loneliness and the invisible bonds that tie us all together, they pontificate over beer and Cold Chisel lyrics. 

Untitled

Fashion designer Megan Dive utilised the concepts of dark and light, good and evil, and had these two concepts co-existing in her graduation textiles piece.
